General Descriptions

Polydioxanone is used for biomedical applications, particularly in cardiothoracic surgery as it is completely absorbed by hydrolysis within the first 4 to 6 months and it doesn’t create any scar tissue. The body stimulates collagen synthesis and the skin structure created will hold for another 12 to 15 months.

How do we do it

The application of tensor threads is rapid and quite simple, it can be summarized in these 3 steps:
-The skin is cleaned and anesthetic cream is administered.
-20 minutes later the anesthesia is removed and the points where the threads will be infiltrated are marked.
-The tensor threads are inserted into the dermis.

How many treatment sessions are necessary

One or two sessions divided by one month. The effect of the local tightening and remeshing is noticeable from the first moment but its collagen stimulation effect can begin 3-4 weeks after application.
